[Hey, what up Steph. I'm sure the thing you wanted to see today is Sousei moving around and about the castle on a broken leg without any crutches or anything.

He's so stupid.

It's a great time to go harass him, honestly.]

[Hey, it's Wednesday! It's Wednesday and Sousei is absolutely not being an adult today... instead, he's reaching rather intensely and with great focus for a fan that somehow manages to keep slipping his grasp.

It's... just out of reach, though, so this isn't going so well, and honestly Sousei isn't that tall so this is just an added taunt.

He's Not Happy about it.]

[Sousei has spent most of today absolutely haunted by this fan. So when he sees it again, he gives it a baleful look--but has to go for it anyway, slowly walking over and reaching up to try to grab it off of its high shelf.

It is...

A bit too far though.

This is an expression of pure aggravation as Sousei looks around for something to stand on to try to grab that.

He's not cool anymore.]

[You know what's dumb? It's dumb when Sousei is trying to reach for something stupid and unnecessary that's just out of reach.

It's even worse when it's a fan, which doesn't even seem that valuable.

It's even worse still when he is... leaning a bit too far over the edge of the pool to try to yank it off of a floatie thing.

This is terrible, and he's teetering, but he's trying so hard.]

[Hey, Shirasu, guess what.

There's a rather familiar fan hanging out just a fair bit out of reach, hanging right over the edge of the top of the refrigerator.

It's definitely a tad bit too familiar, though, even from that far away, right?]

It's probably weird but here's Sousei, precariously balanced on a window sill of all things.

Reaching very, very carefully for a fan that is just a tad bit out of reach.

It looks totally stupid, yeah.

With how serious Sousei usually is in the Historian meetings, it's probably a little surprising to see him just...standing on top of a table.

Reaching for something just slightly out of reach.

[Well, he sure wasn't expecting to run into Cardia, but--!!

[Hey Souji... naturally Sousei has to go find him after That Mess. He doesn't even want to think about the historical ramifications of Hijikata being dead of all people but...

Now that he's spied that familiar white hair, he walks towards him anyway, expression flat and closed off. They just watched a teenager murder another, and he's not feeling all too happy.]

[Sousei's going to wait until he can corner Akechi without anyone around, which is undoubtedly going to take awhile, but Sunday in the very early morning--

Unimpressed and unamused, arms crossed.]

[Knock knock, Steph!

It's Thursday, at a relatively early but decent hour, and Sousei is here to check on those wounds of yours after everything!

It's the least he can do really after that mess.

Hopefully she's like.

Still there right now.]

[Sousei's pretty easy to find. After all of that chaos, he's still out and about, mostly hanging on the fringes to try to keep an eye on everyone.

He's more Dad than he wants to admit to in times like these, but after that insanity...

He can't just leave and let them all fend for themselves.

Perfect time to ambush for a pc!]

[You know what's terrible?

Basically everything that just happened.

Sousei needs some time--both to perform first aid on Steph and to make sure things aren't totally insane and everyone isn't losing their minds here--but eventually he does go to find Fane.

Mostly because Fane seems like the most logical of all of them and he needs to know What Happened.

(It says a lot that the skeleton comes across as the most logical, but he is tiredly accepting this into his heart as Truth.)

So hey sup Fane.]

Admittedly, he's trying to avoid people, but it's really, really hard to turn away from Cardia when her eyes are red from tears.
